Shimla to Kalpa
Distance: Approximately 220 km (8–9 hours drive).
Start early from Shimla, driving through scenic routes crossing Narkanda, Rampur, and Kinnaur.
Reach Kalpa by evening. Overnight stay in Kalpa.

Kalpa to Nako
Distance: Approximately 110 km (3–4 hours drive).
Complete permits and documentation in Kalpa in the morning.
Drive towards Nako through picturesque Spiti Valley landscapes.
Explore Nako village or relax by the serene Nako Lake. Overnight stay in Nako.

Rest and Acclimatization in Nako
Take the day to adapt to the altitude (~3,662m).
Go for a short hike around Nako, visiting nearby monasteries or exploring local trails.

Drive and trek to reach the transit camp located at 4,800 meters.
